We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 81, Carl Everett Young in Columbus, Ohio, born in Irvington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Renit Young and Katie Elizabeth Young (Poole); and his siblings, Donnie Young, Jesse'Crib, Thomas Henry "Ike" Young, Robert "Bobby" Young, Ray Young, Ricky Young, Emma Brown, Mary Richardson and Flora Everett.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Ann N. Young; his children, Steffon Young of Indianapolis, IN. and Penny Avery (Jeff) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, De'Angelo Young, Janelle Lanier (Daishund) and Dajsha Avery; his great grandchildren, Jocelyn Garcia, De'Angelo Young Jr., Jazmin Young, Jayla Young, Aaliyah Lanier and Aria Lanier; and his siblings, Stanford Young (Linda) and Loretta Brown.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (107 Union St, Irvington, KY 40146). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Brooks Memorial Cemetery.
