She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles and Effie Pearl Sipe (Lyon). She is survived by: her husband James Raymond McDonald; her children, Craig McDonald (Deborah) and Shani Bradshaw (Doug); and her grandchildren, Madeleine, Yeats McDonald, Abby Rixon (Marcus), Annie Johnson (Jake), Megan Sherrick, Daniel Wells (Jaci), Ryan Wells (Kaitlynn) and Zachary Farley (Shannon). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Her family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Betty's honor to the Alzheimer's Association at http://www.alzfdn.org.
