She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gustavus and Helen Lousie Deslandes (Mabra); and her siblings, Beverly Clark, Valarie Taylor, Vera Seward, Michael Deslandes and Anna Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Lamarr Deslandes (Kathy) and Candice Deslandes; her grandchildren, Najee'Hodge, Marica Johnson, Olivia Deslandes, Tia Johnson and Gustavus Deslandes; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Leal, Royalty Johnson, Melody Leal, Jamario Pettiford and Kaylani Hodge; her siblings, Richard Deslandes (Charlotte), Howard Deslandes, Ruth Ann Strickland and Dora Bowling (David); and her nephews, Rollin Seward and Eric Deslandes-McKoy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM and on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center (321 N Main St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
