He was predeceased by: his sisters, Bess Povisil and Mary Povisil; and his children, Keith Povisil and Sara Vivian Povisil. He is survived by: his daughters, Sheree DeLeon (Lawrence) and Lori Povisil (Beth); his grandchildren, Matthew (Rachael), Adrienne and Luke DeLeon (Jamie); and his significant other Karin Tracy.

In lieu of flowers donations in his name can be made to St. Jude Hospital or Kobacker House.
