She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ridgill and Martha Ridgill; her husband Ambrose E. Brazelton; her grandson Carl E. Brazelton, Jr.; and her siblings, James Ridgill (Booker), Matthew Ridgill, Kenneth Ridgill and Ruby Bramlett.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Brazelton (Alex) and Leslie Brazelton-Stith (Charles); her siblings, Alma Strong, Manzie Ridgill, Patsy Mitchell, Sandra Williams (Claudie), Gwen Edwards (Albert) and Castine Ridgill (Elizabeth); her sisters-in-law, Savannah Ridgill and Fay Ridgill; her grandchildren, Amber Coleman (Brent), Rudolph Polk, III (Leslie), Christopher Brazelton (Marie Kim), Joseph Brazelton (Sharlene), Ariyah Wallace, Andre Wallace and Jeremiah Wallace; her great grandchildren, Aminah Coleman, Layla Coleman and Alea Brazelton; and her pet Triton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (1158 S Arlington St, Akron, OH 44306). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Glendale Cemetery (150 Glendale Ave, Akron, OH 44302).
