He is survived by: his wife Patsy A Shafer (Carpenter); his sons, Brent Shafer (Julie) of Columbus Grove, Curtis Shafer (Shelley) of Columbus Grove and Scott Shafer of Columbus Grove; his grandchildren, Jordan Shafer (Nichole Johnson), Ashtyn Kill (Shawn), Alex Shafer (Hope), Brady Shafer (Sydney), Zach Shafer (Taylor Weidner), Kylie Shafer (Carter Sterling) and Brock Shafer; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden Kill, Teagan Kill, Gavin Kill and Liam Shafer.
