He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Korte and Marie P. Korte (Bockrath); his wife Carol Eder of September; his stepfather William Schmersal (Bill); his sister Jane Williams (Sony); his brothers-in-law, Joseph Dugger and Ellion Williams; his nieces, Robin Bando (Westrick) and Tina Hunt; and his nephew Timmy Hunt.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Barkimer; his children, Bradley Korte (Paula), Eric Korte, Jan Eversole (Wayne), Verne Peake (Kelly), Scott Eder (Megan), Jean Laurita (Mike) and Sherrie McCluer (Kyle); his granddaughter Brandy DeVandry (Zack); and his siblings, Midwest Logistics, Alice Hall (Dan), Phyllis Hunt (Tim), Arlene Stover (Alan), Virginia Thompson and Robert Korte (Theresa).
Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
