He was predeceased by: his brother Leonard Heffner (Charlotte). He is survived by: his wife Doris (Cartwright); his children, Susan Link (Chris), John Everitt (Melissa) and Lois Alt (Dean); his grandchildren, Alex (Justeen), Noah, Alia, Gabriella Link, Spencer, Zane Everitt, Elizabeth Dorhout (Spencer), Emily (Cort Speckman) and Elisa Alt; his great grandchildren, Matthias and Sterling Everitt; his siblings, Paula Basinger (Ron) and Paul Everitt; and also James "Bob" Butcher.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the funeral home and donated to Teens for Christ, The American Cancer Society, and Hospice.
