He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schroeder and Philomena "Minnie" Schroeder (Niese); his wife Marcella "Sally" Stechschulte; his son Alan "Butch" Schroeder; his grandson Nick Schroeder; and his siblings, Teresa Schroeder (Len), Cecilia Schroeder (Victor), Veronica "Fron" Langhals (Carl), Clara Langhals (John), Alphonse Schroeder (Emma), Joseph Schroeder (Cecelia), Paul Schroeder and Fred Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Niese (Mike) of Glandorf, Beverly Baxter (Bob) of Columbus Grove, Dale Schroeder (Jan) of Kalida, Diane White (Mark) of Grand Island, NY, Connie Dickman (Jerry) of Columbus Grove, Edward Schroeder (Joni) of Columbus Grove, Bruce Schroeder (Sue) of Whitehouse, Roy Schroeder (Vicki) of Columbus Grove, Marsha Ward (Jeff) of Worthington and Amy Edelbrock (Mark) of Columbus Grove; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Schroeder and Mary Margaret Schroeder. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren.
