He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Koontz; and his brothers, Lowell and Dean Amstutz. He is survived by: his children, Alan Koontz (Holly) of Holgate, Tracie Negus (Jason) of Sturgis, SD and Amy Kramer of Delphos; his grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Audra and John; and his brother Jim Amstutz (Susie) of Bluffton. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
