It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis L Carpenter (Columbus Grove, Ohio), born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Louis leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Carpenter. He is survived by: his father John Carpenter; and his siblings, Lisa Runkle (Brent) of Louisville, KY, Cheryl McBride (Doug) of Mansfield, OH., Doug Carpenter (Sandy) of Columbus Grove, OH and Steve Carpenter (Janice) of Columbus Grove, OH.. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
