He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Ted" and Audrey "Dolly" Carpenter; and his brother David Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Makley; his daughters, Jennifer Thompson (Ray) and Renee Carpenter; his siblings, Gary Carpenter (Shannon) and Victoria Hoenie (Mike); his sister-in-law Lynda Carpenter; and his grandchild Elliana Thompson.
