He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hamel and Jeanette Hamel (Ricker). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hamel of Columbus Grove; his daughters, Christina Dunlap (Chad) of Columbus Grove and Nicole Goedde (Steve) of Columbus Grove; his grandchildren, Marissa Heckel (Ryan), Malerie Baldazo, Brayden Dunlap, Jarid Goedde and Ashli Goedde; his great grandchildren, Vanessa and Liam Heckel; and his siblings, Don Hamel of Shaker Hts, Bob Hamel (Barb) of Ft. Jennings, Mike Hamel (Jean) of Glandorf, Jim Hamel of Middlepoint, Ann Hamel of Indianapolis, Doris Nichols (Mike) of Ft. Jennings, Sandy Vo (Tri) of Columbus and Betty Pascal of Columbus.
