She was predeceased by: her parents, Vyron Newland and Irene Newland (Vance); her husband Bernard H. "Ben" Palte; her daughter Kaye Lingreun; and her siblings, Donald Newland and Dorothy Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Palte (Kris), James Palte (Karen) and Mark Palte; her grandchildren, Brooke Wade (Ethan), Brandi Lingreun, Blake Lingreun (Mahsa), Scott Palte (Amber), Stephani Fortman (Eric), Steven Palte (Morgan), Tisha Myer (Terry), Eric Palte and Courtney Palte; and her son-in-law Rex Lingreun. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
