He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Edwards and Mary Esther Edwards (Reynolds); his son-in-law Wayne Stechschulte; his siblings, Robert Edwards, Keith Edwards (Virginia), Donna Edwards, Janet Lea Edwards, Doris Edwards and Mary Lou Tavener (William); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Helms and Roger Archer.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Barto; his children, Tracine Stechschulte (Paul Woodruff), Tamara Schroeder (Larry), Bart Edwards (Debra) and Leah Clevenger (Bruce); and his siblings, Reynold Edwards (Sondra), Della Archer and Patricia Helms. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
