He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Andy and Macie Gray (Carden); his wife Dorothy Jean Carpenter; his stepson Barry A. Watson; his daughters, Sherri A. Jones and Angela S. Meagher; and his stepdaughter Barbara Cieszynski. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
