She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan H. Barto and Leah A. Barto (Williams); her husband Clifford Anthony Metzger; her son Greg Metzger; her grandsons, Douglas and Randall; her siblings, Samuel Barto, Joyce Core (Clyde), Ruth Schumacher (Paul) and Nancy Shafer (Dick); and her brother-in-law Dale Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Kruse (Roger); her grandchildren, Elaine Kiene (Michael), Holly Zarse (Brian), Natalie Jay (Jason), Chad Metzger (Shari), Ryan Kruse (Katie), Aaron Kruse (Audrey), Nathan Kruse (Becca) and Justin Kruse (Lelah Norris); her siblings, Gary Barto (Sue), Dorothy "Dot" Humphreys (John) and Jane Edwards; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Schroeder and Martha Cordonnier (Leo). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
