It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tonia Scott of Columbiana, Ohio, born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Girard and Esther Krautner Girard; her son Brian Scott Frederick; and her brother Ricky Girard. She is survived by: her husband Joe Scott; her stepdaughters, Jennifer J. Barnett (Steve) of Carrollton and Jodi L. Scott of Lexington; her siblings, Carol "Mickey" Morrow of Columbiana, Jerry Girard (Nancy) of Boerne, TX and Fred Girard (Judy) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Cody Dole (Tiffany), Chelsea Hayden (Joseph), Brianne Stoner (Robert), Dylan McMurray (Savannah), Shayla Frederick, Brian Frederick, Ryan Barnett and Katey Barnett; and her great grandchild Sadie Dole.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana following social distancing and face mask protocol.
