He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Herb" Hartley and Gladys Fieldhouse Hartley; and his siblings, Jean M. Naughton and Walter Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann Hartley; his son Michael "Mike" J. Hartley; and his nieces and nephews, Shawn Naughton, Amy Parliament, Julie Hartley and Heather Lewald.
