She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCollum and Susan Sapp McCollum; her husband David Engel; and her siblings, Louise Redick, Victor McCollum, John McCollum and James McCollum.
She is survived by: her children, Melonee Heck (Jim Halls) of Columbiana and James Engel (Deanne) of Rogers; and her sister Nancy Giaurtis of Florence, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
