He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene W. Macklin and Charlotte J. Macklin (Culp); and his sister Carol Black. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Minehart; his children, Robert E. Macklin Jr. (Kayla) of Columbiana, Bryan A. Macklin (Heather) of Columbiana, Jody L. Macklin of Salem, Kathryn R. Macklin of Columbiana, Breanne Macklin of Columbiana and Macayla R. C. Lyder (Joshua) of Columbiana; and his siblings, Larry Macklin and Colleen Heverly (Bill) of Leetonia.
