He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Carol" (Gillespie); his children, Jonna, Jason, Dawna, Steven and Michael; and his siblings, George Swantek (Martha Jean), Andrew Swantek (Theresa), Paul Swantek, Joe Swantek (JoAnn), MaryAnn Masi (Gabe) and Larry Swantek (Irene). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
