He was predeceased by: his grandmother Barbara Barriger. He is survived by: his mother Gayle; his stepfather Gene Nicotera; his father Robert; his stepmother Bobbi Melczak of Columbiana; his brothers, Cassidy Melczak, Christopher Rupp (Edelle), Robert Melczak and Trebor Melczak; his grandmother Genevieve Meloni; and his stepsiblings, Cody Hostutler (Brittany), Vinnie Nicotera, Patrick Nicotera and Caleigh Carrothers (Josh). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michael's name to Make-A-Wish America, Gift Processing Center, 1702 E. Highland Avenue, Suite 400 Phoenix, AZ 85016.
