He was predeceased by: his parents, John Taucher (Dena) and Blanche Taucher (Pease); his wife Jeanie Taucher; his siblings, Arthur, Donald, Betty Tidball, Elsie Smith and Roberta Slopek (Sis); and his grandson Joseph James Stepo III (JJ).
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Stepo (Joe), Laurel Levanduski and Sherry Kuebel; his granddaughters, Maurriah and Vanessa Kuebel; his granddaughter-in-law Karen Stepo; his great grandchildren, Alysia Cappitte (Stevie), Nick Stepo and Maggie Sullivan (Stepo); and his great great grandchildren, Adrianna, Cameron and Skylar Cappitte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
