He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Pete" Herman and E. Irene Grady Linn Herman; and his siblings, Sharon Palmer and David Linn. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gologram Linn; his daughter Carrie Schultz (Noah) of Columbiana; his sister Verona Allen (Steve) of Lithia, FL; and his brother-in-law Timothy Palmer of Woodbridge, VA..
