She is survived by: her husband Gerald Unger; her children, Kristy Fuller (Andrew) of East Liverpool, Melissa Yeany (Steve) of Columbiana and Brian Unger (Kristina) of Reisterstown, MD; and her siblings, Peggy Nesselrotte, Terri Slagle of Boardman, Janet Kay of Canton and Kenny Floor of Columbiana.

“I am so sorry for the loss of Karen. She was always a friend, when no one would understand. Always ready to give me a cup of coffee, anything to eat, just a lovely laugh. I was sorry that I could not be with the family during this terrible time of hurt and loss. I miss her and wish I would have called more, talked more, or sent a card. Thank you Karen for all you did for my family and me through they years. I forgot to say thank you so many times, and now I regret it. Love ya, Wanda”
