He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Shawke and Frances D. Shawke (Brant); and his brother Richard Wyman Shawke. He is survived by: his wife Marlene A. Shawke (Bertschy); his siblings-in-law, Nila Jane Barrett (Robert) of Columbiana and Robert Bertschy (Berlydene) of East Liverpool; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Jackson (Daryl) of Wellsville, Catherine Green of Louisville, OH, Nila Jo Lawrence of Olmstead Falls, OH, Karen Bertschy of East Liverpool, Lisa Carney of Canton, OH, Richard Shawke, Jr. of East Liverpool, Robert Barrett, Jr. (Shelly) of Wapakoneta, OH and John Bertschy of Lisbon.
In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home.
