He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Burkhart and Florence Sauerwein Burkhart; his son Fritz Burkhart; and his brother Ray Burkhart. He is survived by: his wife Paula Todd Burkhart; his son Eric Burkart of Columbiana; his stepchildren, Brad Peck of Clearwater, FL and Lisa Gaskill of Salem; and his siblings, Tate Burkhart of Bluffton, SC and Suzane Manzi of Canfield.
