He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Burbick and Kathleen Oesch Burbick; his wife Patricia Ann Reesh Burbick; his son Jeffrey; and his brothers, Robert, Elmer, Donald, Harold, Howard and Charles.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas of Columbiana, David of Amelia and Kevin of Shrewsburg, MA; his daughter-in-law Jill Donnellan of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Juliana, Madison, Abigail, William, Alexandra, Adam and Zachary; his siblings, Norma Burbick, Marge Schoemaker, Dale Burbick, Jeannie Sauerwein, Mike Burbick, Philip Burbick, Willard Burbick, Mary Kay McFall, Carol Dowdle and Maureen Nesselrotte; and his close friend Ruth Rice.
