He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Ward and Thelma Lowe Ward; and his siblings, Bernice Moore and Glenn E. Ward. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Douglas; his children, Kathleen Hill (Jim) of Leetonia and Floyd David Douglas Ward of Columbus; his grandsons, John Hill (Shannon) and Matthew Hill (Amanda); and his great grandchild Ethan T. Hill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
