He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert W. Brooks and Irene McDonald Brooks; his brothers, Keith, Frank, Ronnie, Richard, Jackie and Jimmy; his nephews, Mark Buffone and Andrew Berg; and his niece Kelly Brooks.
He is survived by: his siblings, Beverly Griffiths of Salem, Marlene White (George) of Massachusetts, Donna Buffone (John) of Leetonia, Bette Getz of Leetonia, Peggy Berg (Richard) of Salem, Glenna Flick (Kevin) of Petersburg and David Brooks (Pam) of Leetonia; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Brooks of Salem and Dorothy Brooks of Auburn, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
