She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton F. Wellman and Daisy L. Wellman (Lippley); her husband Roy E. Barnes; her grandson J. P.; her siblings, Donald Wellman and Monnie Hunter; and her pet Gomer.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hixson (Arland) of New Middletown, Richard Barnes (Roberta McCullough) of Salem and Terry Barnes (Mary) of Girard; her grandsons, Chad, Jeremy (Jessica), Joshua (Kathryn) and Joseph; her great grandchildren, Logan, Alice, Adison, Tanner, Noah, Maddox, Lydia and Charleigh "Charlie"; and her pets, Teddy and Gizmo.
