He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Hamper Sr. and Ethel Hamper (Harrison); and his sister Donna Mae Hamper. He is survived by: his siblings, John "Butch" P. Hamper Jr. (Sue) of Columbia Station, Billie Ann Wigginton (Ralph) of Sun City, AZ, Joseph A. Hamper of Rocky Ford, CO, Patrick Hamper of Phoenix Az and Patricia Hamper of Peoples Valley; his wife Rita (Jenkins); his daughter Donna Frank; his son-in-law Brad Frank; his son Timothy A Hamper Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kelly Hamper (Gibbons) of Columbia Station; and his grandchildren, Justin A. Hamper (Brittney) of Columbia Station, Breanna Hamper (John Crampton) of Berea and Jacob Frank of Columbia Station.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:20 PM at the New Columbia Cemetery (26025 Royalton Rd, Columbia Station, OH 44028). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Columbia Cemetery (26025 Royalton Rd, Columbia Station, OH 44028).
