He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene (nee Simon); and his siblings, William, Ray, Al and Eileen "Sis".

He is survived by: his former wife Vickie (nee Poteet) of Oregon; and his sons, Frederick III (Andrea) and Steven (Danah). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
