He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his son Edward Brown; and his brother Clayton Tripp. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Dickson (Heidi), Kevin Dickson (Connie), Coletta Kostohryz (Chris) and Larry Brown (Cora); his grandchildren, Christina, Douglas, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Erin, Heather, Lisa, Ryan, Nitasha, Sean, Luke, Corry and Chancellor; his great grandchildren, Noah, T. J., Olivia, Elio, Rhys, Kennedy and Emerson; and his brother Gary Tripp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
