He was predeceased by: his father Roy Lewis Braden, Sr.; his former wife Penny Braden; his siblings, Roy Braden, Bobby Braden and Sue Smith; and his grandson Christopher Braden.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Braden (Reva) of Norwalk, Anna Mingus (Brian) of Norwalk, Curtis Braden (Lorie) of Clyde and Ronald Braden, Jr. of Tiffin; and his siblings, Donna Tharp of Brewster, Sharon Goodrich of Collins, Linda Evans of Collins, Dale Braden (Irene) of Norwalk, Keith Braden of Collins, Billy Braden (Chris) of Collins and Darrell Braden (Kathy) of Collins. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
