She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Vlerah (Ruffing) and Morris Van Vlerah; her former husbands, Robbie Natole and Duward Clonch (Duke); her son Joshua Chipman; her brother Edward Van Vlerah; and her brother-in-law Jack "Redd" Jessee.

She is survived by: her husband Mark Birdsell; her stepdaughters, Kayla England (Robert) and Jamie Natole (Brendan Do); her grandchildren, Rhiannan and Waylon; her siblings, Richard Van Vlerah (Denise), Thomas Van Vlerah (Melissa), Morris Van Vlerah II and Tammy Van Vlerah Jessee; and her sister-in-law Sandy Van Vlerah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
