He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah S. Rhoades; his children, Amy Tam (Mason) and John E. Rhoades, III (Erin); his grandchildren, Daniel, Beth Neugebauer, Abigail Rhoades and Deborah Josephine Rhoades; and his siblings, Peggie Munson (Dean) and Kent Rhoades (Debby). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
