He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. DeVaul and Iona Loy DeVaul; his wife Florence L. Baker DeVaul; his son David Lee DeVaul; his grandson David Lee Schnegg; and his brother Glenn E. DeVaul.
He is survived by: his daughter Sue Schnegg (Francis) of Colerain; and his grandchildren, Scott Schnegg (Jennifer) of Morristown, Debbie Lucas (Josh) of Colerain, Josie Montalvo (Pedro) of Zanesville, Doug DeVaul (Britny) of Perry County and Dawna Hernandez (Tony) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
