It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gilbert of Colerain Township, Ohio, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Gilbert to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester McConnell and Eve McConnell (Hamlin); her husband Fred Gilbert; her daughter Cheryl Adams; and her brothers, Bill, Jerry, Danny and Roger McConnell.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Hewitt, Richard Gilbert, Rebecca "Becky" Stanton (Tom) and Sonya Stamm (Russ); her grandchildren, Michael Gilbert (Jolene), Tesa Ward (Britt), Sean Bowery, Matthew Gilbert (Amanda), Tella Gilbert, Terrence Stanton (Gwenna), Ben Peters, Laura, Adam Stamm, Chris, Jason and Robert Adams; her great grandchildren, Damian, Evey, Summer, Zack, Hunter, Remi, Alex, Xavier, Lincoln, Thomas, Stephanie and Izzy; her great great grandchildren, Rae Lynn, Jackson, Marley, Landon, Elie, Ellie and Elaina Stamm; her siblings, Joyce Hiler (late Don), Dick, Butch and Johnny McConnell; and her brother-in-law Bob Adams. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended relatives and family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charles C. Young Funeral Home (4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd, Ross, OH 45061). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
