He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Gierach; his children, Cheryl Reynolds (Greg) and Steven R. Gierach; his grandchildren, Justin Reynolds (Tenisha), Sarah Robinson (Brandon) and Jessica Hanekamp (Adam); and his brother George Gierach Jr..
