He was predeceased by: his parents, Vito Sparto and Angelina Sparto; and his siblings, Peter, Sam, Nick, John, Tony and Aggie.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Sparto; his children, Patrick Sparto (Jill) and Kathy Nieman (Chris); his grandchildren, Joel Nieman of Kaleigh Nieman, T. J, Justin Sparto and Alyssa Sparto; and his sisters, Mary and Rita.
