He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John II and Clara Archdeacon (Lagedrost); his wife Karen Sue Archdeacon (Posey); and his daughter Susan Archdeacon. He is survived by: his children, Joseph John Archdeacon III, Brian Archdeacon (Lindsey), Marianne Linardos, Daniel Archdeacon, Kristen Schneider (Stephen) and Craig Archdeacon. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
