She was predeceased by: her father AJ Griffis; her husband Art Worth Kennedy; and her siblings-in-law, Eva (Bob), Danny, Deloris, Denise and Betty.

She is survived by: her mother Rosemary Matthews; her children, Brandy May (Tony), Bruce Kennedy (Brandy) and Bryan Kennedy; her grandchildren, Alexis "Ladybug", Cayden "Dragonfly", Chelsea, Anthony and Heaven; her siblings, Jimmy, Billy, Ronda and Aaron; and her siblings-in-law, Clell, Sue (Carl), Doug (Pam), Dale (Mary) and Debbie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
