He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bryan and Mary Bridgett Mattingly (Russell); and his siblings, Sara Eudora Walker (Red), Joseph Rueben (Helen), Charles David, Mary Frances Conn (Jack), Joseph Bryan, Jr. (Margaret) and Theresa Benita Lamkin (Howard).
He is survived by: his wife Marita Joan Winhoven; his sons, James (Deborah), Robert (Mary) and Richard (Melanie); his grandchildren, Alex, Ross Belkofer (Molly), Eric Master (Chastity), Bryan (Nikki), Allison, Brent, Brianne (Russell Blystone), Brooke (Nick Rousch), Lydia (Nathan Forsthoefel) and Lucas Mattingly; his great grandchildren, Abrahm, Griffin Blystone, Duke, Francis Rousch, Mason and Amelia Mattingly; his sisters, Emma Jean Miles, Mary Bridgett Mattingly and Ann Sophia Barr; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Steinbrunner of Coldwater, Mary Rita Mattingly and Betty Mattingly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special neighbors.
