Vernon H. Brackman Obituary

The passing of Vernon H. Brackman (Coldwater, Ohio) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Brackman and Emily Brackman (Holthaus); his wife Ruth E. Brackman (Reinhart); his in-laws, Jim Barga, Eugene, Barb Brackman, Donald Brackman, Gerald, Ann Wagner, Victor, Pauline Reinhart, Rev. Robert Reinhart C. and Doris Reinhart; and his parents-in-law, Peter and Cecelia Reinhart.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce, Brenda Brackman (Watercutter) of Ft. Loramie, Linda, Randy Bergman of Maria Stein, Alan, Kathy Brackman (Oldiges) of New Bremen, Dr. Joe Karre of O'Fallon, MO, Brian and Amy Brackman (Nelson) of Murfreesboro, TN; his friend Betty Tumbusch of North Star; and his in-laws, Norma, Don Purcell of Deland, FL, Val Brackman of Debary, FL, Janice, Delbert Dirksen of Frenchtown and Joseph Reinhart of Trinity, IN.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (221 E Main St, St Henry, OH 45883). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (6524 OH-119, Maria Stein, OH 45860).
