It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita E Eyink of Coldwater, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Gruss and Mary Gruss (Gaerke); her sister Irene Timmerman of Ft. Recovery; her son-in-law Tom Lewis; and her parents-in-law, Vincent Gruss, Victor, Rose Gruss, Lavern, Ruth Gruss, Donald Gruss, Ernest Eyink, Alice Feltz, Tommy Eyink and Gerald Timmerman.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar R. Eyink; and her parents-in-law, Robert Eyink (Karen) of Troy, Mary Kay Vavaro (John), James Eyink of Coldwater, Carol Lewis of Marysville, Deb Griesdorn (Gary) of Coldwater, Teresa Poulios (Bobby) of Thessaloniki, Greece, Pamela Hahlen (Mike) of Dublin, Mary Ann Gruss of Coldwater, Frances Gruss of Florida, Mary Eyink of New Bremen, Ken Eyink (Kathy) of Coldwater, Donald Feltz of Coldwater, Viola Homan (Wilbert) of St. Rose and Esther Eyink of Chickasaw. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
The family would like to receive friends but due to COVID-19 concerns a private viewing will be held at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorial contributions may be made to Briarwood Village Activity fund or the Mercer Health hospital volunteers.
