With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alig of Coldwater, Ohio, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Alig and Hilda P. Alig (Droesch); his son-in-law Gary Uhlenhake; his granddaughter Jessica Muhlenkamp; his siblings, Jerome Alig, Ralph Alig, Donald Alig, Joe Alig, John Alig, Bernice Buehler, Dorothy Hein and Viola Alig; and his parents-in-law, Arthur Buschur, Gregor Hein, Elmo Buehler, Edgar Heitkamp, Vera Alig, Evelyn Alig, Mildred, Melvin Brunswick, Norbert, Julianna Wellman, Cletus, LouAnn Wellman, Lavern, Norma Wellman, Wilma, Jim Pfeffenberger, Doris and Dennis Grieshop.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Wellman; his children, Steve Alig (Mary Jo) of Celina, Ralph Alig (Diane) of Coldwater, Charles'Chuck' Alig (Lisa) of Coldwater, Barbara Uhlenhake and Nancy Muhlenkamp (Eric); and his parents-in-law, Rosemary Heitkamp of Coldwater and Marceil Alig of Portland. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; siblings.
