He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Bruns and Bertha Bruns (Wenning); his sister Cynthia Bruns; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Helen Kaiser (Sanning).
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Kaiser); his children, Carmen, Vern Siefring of Covington, Jon Bruns of Coldwater and Dan Bruns of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Dustin Fickert, Mark Siefring, Matt Siefring, Jason Siefring and Eva Bruns; and his parents-in-law, Donnie Bruns of Coldwater, Ruth, John Peters of Versailles, Jim, Marg Bruns of Coldwater and Ken Bruns of Coldwater. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
