He was predeceased by: his father Charles Koester; his brother Steve Koester; and his great-nephews, Jaxson Koester and Jaden Muhlenkamp. He is survived by: his mother Aneta Koester (Werling) of Coldwater; his children, Kohl and Aubrey; his wife Christy; his children, Bailee Koester (Rinderle) of St. Marys and Ashlyn Koester of Coldwater; his siblings, Jeff (Linda Koester), Tom (Jaci Koester) and Rebecca Kelly of Celina; his parents-in-law, Marsha Smith, Sandy Sweebe and Butch Sweebe of Toledo; his siblings-in-law, Tracy, Mike Henderly of Whitehouse, Dustin, Misty Smith of New York, Matt Cunningham of Whitehouse, Paula, Marcus Ma of Michigan, Troy and Sarah Sweebe of Columbus; and his godchildren, Jeremy Koester and Jasmine Kelly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
